The SMART Foundation is a community-based non-profit organization that advances existing inclusive operations and establishes new initiatives, while maintaining the flexibility to adapt to changing needs of children in our mountain resort communities. The Foundation combines a needs-based approach with common sense parent, professional and community collaboration to overcome bureaucracies and other challenges, while providing equal access to quality care for all children, regardless of their individual needs or challenges.
The SMART Foundation is committed to making sure no child or parent will ever hear the words "we don't have the expertise, time or resources to help." Our mission is to advance accessibility to degreed specialists and trained professionals for childhood wellness and development, elevate the caliber of care and services accessible to all children and to provide qualified local options for those with Autism and other developmental disabilities. World-class compassion is the hallmark of our mountain communities making them home to world-class resorts. By coming together to understand and address these needs and challenges we will build stronger communities, promote stable family economics and achieve a higher quality and enjoyment of life together.
